My journey into vintage racing started in December 2005 with the purchase of a '74 MGB GT, lovingly referred to as:
"The Thing"
The car was vintage race prepared
by International Classics in Chicago and
raced for the first time in '99. It had been
owned and raced by two different gentlemen
in the Midwest prior to me.
My first vintage race event took place in
Spring 2006 at GingerMan Raceway near
South
Haven, MI.
I joined
VDCA (Vintage Drivers
Club of
America) and will primarily participate in
events organized by this club.
